From a very early age I've been a problem solver. I was that individual who asked many questions —and then try to understand the issue to suggest a better solution.
After graduating from Ryerson University, I was hired by Shopify into a customer support role and got paid to learn and troubleshoot challenging problems. This opportunity also made me realize I am really good at working with leadership and supporting my teammates.
While I enjoyed my job and have been successful in it, I wanted to continue exploring and learning new things. Now, the reason I'm so interested in this position is that it seems to provide a really great blend of being impactful and hands-on problem-solving.

Simon is always jumping in to help out in the #support-channel. Today he not only helped us out during a really busy time, but also provided a fellow JSA with an amazing tailored solution for a workaround! We appreciate you, Simon!

Today Simon noticed that our channel was getting pretty backed up. Being the knowledgeable JSA that he is, he did not hesitate to hop in and help answer some questions the other JSAs had waiting in the channel as we were working on questions from earlier.
